The quick and easy installation is one of the best things when we talk about this product.
First, place the pump on a hard surface in the water. Be careful not to set the pump directly in mud or sand. In order for the pump to operate that water level must be at least 1-inch deep. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120-volt AC outlet. The pump will start to operate as soon as the cord is plugged in. The pump should be turned off once the water reaches these levels. Do not let the pump run dry because it needs water for cooling and lubrication.
Operating the pump without water may cause the motor to overheat or cause damage to parts of the pump. It may also shorten the life of your pump. That’s why you should be really careful and not let the pump run dry.
This pump has thermal overload protection built-in. It is not recommended for pumping liquids over 120 F. The thermal overload protector will automatically shut down the pump in an overheat situation. You need to keep all electrical connections away from wet and damp environments.
Do not worry, the installation and maintenance may look a bit difficult but that’s just how it seems. In reality, this pump is easily installed and maintained and everything you need to know is explained in the owner’s manual.
